‘Expectations vs Reality : Ashoka Edition’

For almost all of us, Ashoka University has been a hallmark institution in representing the truest form of liberal arts curriculum, which was the primary objective with which, every student chose to be a part of this family- its diversity, inclusivity, excellent academics, amazing infrastructure, best faculty, and the list goes on. Thus, we took this event as an opportunity to explore how students opined about their expectations coming into the college and the reality they faced after having stayed here for a while. In line with Orators Club’s objectives, students were engaged to use various forms of public speaking, including slam poetry, stand-up, extempore, etc. to bring forth their views and portray their personal experiences in their own way.
